More 14th Army

A few more bits and pieces done tonight- my first 28mm WWII vehicles.

First up, a Blitzkrieg Miniatures M3 Stuart- lovely model. I painted this (as I will all my British vehicles) Vallejo US Dark Green and highlighted it a light dry brush of Khaki to pick out details. This will be used on our Burma 1942 clashes. The British had about 70 of them in Burma in 1942. However, all but one of the survivors of the retreat were abandoned when the British retreated across the Chindwin river.

A Perry Bren Gun Carrier. Again a very nice model with plenty of stowage.

Finally, 5x TAG 14th Army soldiers.Good details and easy to paint.

Not a bad effort really. I am happy with the way that they look. no I need to find some 28mm 7th armoured brigade transfers a green (rather than red) jerboa.

  2. Great work. I like seeing the extra detail on the 28m, I'm so used to that same models in 15mm for FOW.

    1. One of my mates used to run 30 stuarts in FoW- a right royal pain to face. The thing that surprised me wit the resin kits is how light they are, a much lighter resin than FoW stuff.

    1. Cheers Dean- a simple paint job but the drybrushing picked out the detail quite nicely.
