So I've decided to replace th Warlord Games with Black Tree Design ones. I was a bit unsure about the BTD ranges but a search round the net unearthed some nice painted figs to ally my fears. I decided to bite the bullet and buy a few as a sample.
Last night I painted up a sample squad and was pleasantly surprised. They paint up easily, details such as belts are easy to pick out (especially after working with plastics where the details are less pronounced). Here is the squad. I'll get Finn to paint a couple of squads when he is interested again.
And an 82mm mortar crew.
Very very nice Craig! I agree about the Warlord Germans, very fiddly!!ReplyDelete
Great stuff! I, too, really like the BTD figures. I have no Russians but plenty of Germans and British.ReplyDelete
These certainly look great!ReplyDelete
I was pleasantly surprised by these figures and I too will definitely be getting more. I just had some German infantry arrive yesterday for their opposition...
Well done. I am a big fan of Black Tree Designs WW2 Soviets.ReplyDelete
I will definitely being using them for rank and file
